This app is particularly well-suited for individuals requiring access to maps and charts for various terrestrial and maritime applications. It boasts a continually expanding array of high-quality map layers, comprehensive content, and an assortment of practical features.

Map Layers Include:

 <li>Bing Aerial - Worldwide</li>
 <li>Topographic - Norway</li>
 <li>Maritime Paper Chart - Norway</li>
 <li>Nautical HD – Norway (available through in-app purchase)</li>
 <li>AIS Basic (from aishub.net)</li>
</ul>

The Nautical HD feature provides users with access to official Nautical Charts in a vector format specifically for Norway. These charts, supplied by the Norwegian Hydrographic Service, adhere to international hydrographic standards and are regularly updated to maintain accuracy.

The AIS Basic layer offers a free basic Automated Information System (AIS) feed, enabling users to view vessel positions in selected areas with satellite coverage. This data is sourced from AISHub (www.aishub.net) and updates approximately every minute; however, it is important to note that full AIS coverage cannot be guaranteed.

 <li>Intuitive zoom and pan features for effective navigation across charts</li>

 <li>Display of map coordinates in multiple formats</li>

It should be noted that NaVida is not designed for navigation in accordance with the regulations established by the International Maritime Organization.
